The economic miracle rolls...
The V200 - often called "loco of the economic miracle"
Santa Claus
had to carry a heavy load according to testimonies, since he had a complete train in his luggage. The V200 is a wonderful model, which awakes memories from childhood.
Since this model lacks any traction-assist feature ex factory, it's illumination comes up a little bit late - when it's already rolling. A cost-effective model apparently has its price...
Installing several gadgets like a smoke unit and a sound module as well as an illumination for the engine compartment is planned.

Tail-lights
for the Bm/Bim-coaches were a first must to implement, since these aren't available from Lehmann. If you find the trivia needed for this in your bargain box, you will be through with it within an hour.
After removing the roof, the end of a car can be disassembled quite easily. Plug-in sockets for the known 5V-bulbs are mounted behind the end wall in a place corresponding to the red glasses. Commercial SIL sockets can be used as sockets for the plug-in bulbs.
Track voltage is picked up from the cables inside the coach. A 5V supply is used to feed the tail-lights.

Since there was some time left for building another tail-light, one of the IC coaches got one, too.
Particularly at dusk it looks really good.
