A conversion
In 1998 the Rhaetian Railways put a kind of parlour/party-hybrid coach into operations which had been equipped with furniture by the French designer Philippe Starck. This car was replaced in 2002 with another vehicle - which unfortunately was scrapped in 2010, probably due to its age. Both of the cars were slightly different regarding their interior layout as well as regarding their body:

The "model" of this coach made by LGB hit the road in 2003 and showed just little similarity with both the older and the newer prototype - apart from the flamboyant paint. So I refrained from an acquisition.
Late in 2015 a kit for prototypical furnishings was announced by Christian Fesl and ...
... the inevitable took its course.
A coach and the interiors' kit was purchased, but before starting the conversion into a more prototypical vehicle it became clear I would have to do a second coach.
