More lighting gimmicks
Or: What to do with a discarded toy ? Disassemble and use it for soemthing else !

Leftovers from a running light foam rod and an aluminum U-profile. LEDs, a running light chip and the U-profile are used as the basis for a light effect on a building.

LEDs, a running light chip and the U-profile are used as the basis for a light effect on a building. The LEDs are encapsulated in a U-profile with a clear 2-component adhesive (Uhu Plus Schellfest) and the chip receives a suitable power supply for use with the railway's power.

The power supply as well as an NE555-based timer and some desiccant are housed in a small IP65 housing, making the installation weatherproof.
A nice effect for a gastronomy building, which already comes into its own at the onset of dusk.
