Reflecting the pleasing experiences made with the Beli-Beco brass lights, the decision to buy park lights from the same manufacturer was made. Too much of my astonishment these lights were found to have wooden sockets after unpacking them. A permanent usage outside appeared to be at least questionable - but ...
Test mounting - does it fit ?
Turned, drilled, grounded, varnished, ´staked´ - weatherproof
The wooden socket were measured und new socket were made from stainless steel.
A first fitting is shown in the picture on the left, on the right you can see
the upgrade to weatherproofness.
