I HATE THE BEAST !

Looks like the mole is building a subway...
Obviously the beast also is fond of tracks now and it's working on some stations for its new subway. Removing the remainders took more than two hours...

The subway's central station...

... and some more stops...
Katzhagen train operations abandoned due to annual foliage disaster

Up to the neck...

Next year I'll glue the leaves to the trees...
Due to the above adversities, train operations and work on extensions were almost impossible. Furthermore, I was distracted by a completely different project.
Of course, this also was bound to happen...

It seems the mole was not enough...

... and I can start a zoo sooner or later.
I weren't astonished if the local forester will show up to set up a ticket
shed so that I can pay some entrance fee for my own (zoological) garden...
Both of the hasty snapshots were taken from a distance of ca. 100m around
noontime (!) on November, 17th.
Trails of deer had been found in the garden before - to much of my wife's displeasure because of the lost flowers and buds. So sightings of a single deer were rare but not exceptional. A horde of three exercising long jump techniques across the buildings of Katzhagen ... this definitely was new.
