Snow !
There had been quite some snow in the early morning on January the 16th - and related preparations had been made. Obstacles like branches which fell down during the last storm had been removed from the layout, the vehicles had been put out and the camera was within reach...
Nice appearances ...
...are deceiving immensely !
Easy on the eyes, but...
Since the temperature had risen to about 1°C, the snow had turned sticky which caused some severe difficulties in plowing particular areas. In some places it was too much of a good thing then:
Despite it was a partial write-off, snow operations are always fun !
